At Soy Latina our mission is to empower young women to embrace their identity, build confidence, and become leaders in their communities through mentorship and cultural pride.
Who We Are
At Soy Latina we are committed to connecting juniors and seniors in high school—our Hermanitas—with inspiring Latina mentors—our Hermanas—to build strong sisterhoods rooted in trust, support, and growth.
We believe that when young Latinas are proud of their culture and supported by a powerful network, they rise with purpose, passion, and pride.

What We Do
• Mentorship
We pair Hermanitas with caring Hermanas who guide them through academics, personal challenges, and life transitions.
• Leadership Development
Through workshops, community projects, and public speaking opportunities, we help our girls build confidence and leadership skills.
• Cultural Empowerment
We celebrate heritage and identity, reminding each young woman that her roots are her superpower.
• College & Career Readiness
We support our Hermanitas with resume writing, interview prep, scholarship guidance, and exposure to career paths.
• Community Connection
We create safe, uplifting spaces for our girls to grow, connect, and thrive—together.
